Bio
Pedro Avella was born in Bogotá, Colombia, but was soon transferred to Büderich – a really small town near Düsseldorf, Germany – where he grew up and where some called him Peter Frommann. After having lived and worked as photography assistant in Düsseldorf for some years he needed a change. He moved to Cologne and started studying communication design in Wuppertal, where he rediscovered his other passion besides photography: illustration. With his masters certificate framed, Pedro Avella now blobs colours all over his Cologne studio.
